Crandon Park


The park is more than 800 acres in size, and has two miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean side.  Crandon Boulevard extends form the end of the Rickenbacker Causeway through the length of the park, providing access to the Village of Key Biscayne and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.  The Park has a variety of facilities, includingd a marina, Crandon Golf Course, a tennis center, a family amusement center, picnic shelters and a nature center.  There is parking for more than 3,000 vehicles in the park.  Part of the park is set aside as the Bear Cut Preserve, a designated natural Environment Study Area.  Guided tours throught the preserve are available.

Mathson Hammock Park


Matheson Hammock Park is a scenic Park featuring a mad-made atoll pool, which is flushed naturally with the tidal action of adjacent Biscayne Bay.  The beach sea breeze makes it popular among families.  The park operates a snack bar and restaurant built into an historic coral stone building, picnic pavilions and nature trails.  The park surrounds the north and western ends of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.  Matheson Harmmock Park is a popular kitesurfing destination.

South Beach is the quintessential Miami beach experience.  It's the place to see and be seen.  The beach is located on Ocean Drive, across the street from many of Miami Beach's famous nightclubs, restaurants and shopping destinations. The miles of white sandy beaches are nothing short of spectacular, and host a wide array of activities.  The area known as South Beach actually is comprised of Lummus Park, Collins Park and Public Beach (located between 5th and 15th Street) There are all kinds of cabana bars and restaurants right on the beach where you can enjoy fresh seafood and stunning views of the Atlantic.
